The Valley Park Elementary Library Media Center offers a fun way to celebrate your child's birthday through the Valley Park Elementary Birthday Book Club.  By donating $10.00 to the Valley Park Elementary Library Media Center, your child can choose a book from a collection of new books.  A bookplate with the child's name and birthday will be placed inside the front cover.  Your child will be the first student to check out and read the book.  If your child's birthday is during the month of June or July, we will celebrate those birthdays on their half birthday of December and January.  

Your child's birthday book then becomes a gift to the Valley Park Elementary Library Media Center to be enjoyed by all students.  It is a gift that keeps on giving year after year as students check it out to read. 

With the average price of a new children's book on the increase, your $10.00 donation is greatly appreciated .  The Birthday Book Club helps our Library grow.  Your donation can be made at any time during the school year.
