Mrs. Elizabeth Bodenhamer

I am beyond grateful to serve as the administrator here at Stanley elementary. Stanley Elementary is made up of a talented group of staff members who believe in providing a safe, caring environment where students are encouraged to be invested in their academic journey.  My educational philosophy includes putting a spotlight on what I like to call "Mrs. B's three C's".  Our students can reach their full potential if they feel Confident, Capable and Cared for. If we consistently implement the three "C's" into our day-to-day interactions with our students, we increase the chances for them to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Each day is a new beginning with endless possibilities for growth and I am excited to continue this journey here at Stanley Elementary.

I have been a part of the Blue Valley School System for a total of nine years. I started my educational career in 7th grade and then went on to teach in grades 2,4,6 and 8, This is my 4th year as an administrator and my 16th year in education.  Throughout my career I was also a Title Math teacher and I spent a large part of my time in middle school teaching mathematics. Building positive, trusting, relationships with staff, students, and families is something I am passionate about and I am honored to be a part of your school family. It fills my cup every day to support Stanley students in their love for learning and personal growth. 

My husband, Bryan, and I have three children. Elli has graduated from KU and is working towards her nursing degree. Grace is a senior at KU and Bennett attends KU as well and is a sophomore. We are huge Chiefs fans, spend lots of time with family, and enjoy traveling to the lake. I look forward to an excellent school year and many more to come in the future.
