ACTIVITIES

STUDENT CONTRIBUTORS

Students of all ages are offered special invitations to assist or contribute across the school. Students may assist in a younger grade classroom, library, or a specials class of interest. This offers students an opportunity to give of themselves and also grows a strong self-picture and worth.

BROADCAST

Fifth-grade students are offered the opportunity to participate in writing, producing, and hosting a morning broadcast for the school each morning. Broadcast participants enjoy leadership roles and also may learn they love the camera. This club is sponsored by Mrs. Snyder and Mr. von Holten.

SAFETY PATROL

Students are offered this position as fifth graders as they supervise and greet all CPE students entering CPE each morning. This activity is sponsored by Laura Fay.

FIFTH GRADE LEADERSHIP CLUB

The intent and purpose of CPE's Fifth Grade Leadership Club is to teach and grow leadership skills while also providing and guiding community service as a school. Club sponsor, Mrs. Davis, engages students in learning characteristics of leaders and offering students opportunities for decision-making and development of service projects for the student body throughout the year.​
