Dear Mission Trail Families,
I am writing this on Saturday from school. I am here having fun as I prepare for a staff treasure hunt this week as we get ready for winter break! Our gym is full of basketball practices! It is a busy place!
**Thank you, PTO Science on Wheels, Angela Strecker, Angela Randle, Danny Meneses and Lauren Hetherington, for putting this together for our 3rd-5th graders. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and helped make this happen. Our students love this learning. Thanks to LMS for loaning us Mr. Bones!
Thank you to our PTO Staff Appreciation Committee for the Sunshine Cart visit on Friday! It is always an appreciate pick-me-up for teachers!
Most grades are winding up our winter assessments. We do the winter iReady diagnostic, winter Acadience screening, and the Fastbridge Assessment.
We will have our winter parties on Friday morning. Please remember volunteers are limited to the PTO Sign-up roles so that we have plenty of room for the children to enjoy the party. We dismiss at 11:45 on Friday. We will start our dismissal at 11:40 on Friday. Party volunteers and children, Center-based students and daycare busses will likely be few minutes earlier.
My next email message will be on Sunday, January 5th, 2025! WOW!
