BVMS Debate Club is kicking off this year! All students 6-8 are eligible to participate. If you are interested in high school debate, a job as a lawyer or even just enjoy arguing, this club is for you!

We will be meeting every Thursday starting October 13^th through November 17^th. To finish off our season, we even get to compete at the high school versus Prairie Star, the other Blue Valley High feeder school. Please reach out to Mrs. Beye with any questions!

Have you looked around and noticed how different your peers are from you? Well, you’re right! Our differences are what makes our world amazing. The BVMS Diversity Council is geared towards creating awareness, broadening peoples’ minds, and getting people talking about the world they live in. We work to help create a safe, inclusive environment here in our school and in our school district. The Diversity Council’s first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 7^th, after school from 3:05-4:00pm. Meetings will be held every other Wednesday in the Art room. If you are interested in joining the BVMS Diversity Council, please see Mrs. Liposchak or just show up to our first meeting on the 7th.
