I am so excited to be the principal at SRE. It is such an amazing school community.  I can't wait to see what we can accomplish as we work together to help our students reach high levels of success in both academics and social/emotional learning.  

I grew up in Liberty, MO.  I then earned my Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University and my Masters in School Leadership from Baker University. I started my career as a music teacher and then went on to be an assistant principal at the middle school level.  I then followed my heart and went back to elementary and have been a building principal at the elementary level for many years. 

On a personal note, my husband Tyler and I have one daughter, Hallie Grace. She keeps us on our toes. We also have a Cavapoo named Yukon. He keeps us laughing every day. In the summer, we love to go to Clinton Lake, the pool and take any opportunity to head to the beach.  We also love to spend time with family and friends, whenever possible.  

I am so glad that my path brought me to this school community. I look forward to an awesome year at SRE.  Thank you for sharing your kids with us each day.
