    2024 - 2025 Yearbook Orders Close Friday February 14th

    Friday February 14th is the last day to order 2024-2025 yearbooks!

    Order today to prevent end of the year tears!  There will not be extra yearbooks to purchase at the end of the school year.  The price is $25 and orders are placed through ParentVue.  Go to FEE and scroll down to Optional Purchases.  Search for YRBOOK  Yearbook 24-25 OMS.  Add it to your cart and check out.

    Yearbooks are passed out at school on the final days of school.  Online ordering closes at 11:59pm on Friday February 14th.

     

     

    Enrollment for 2025-26 for 6th and 7th graders

     OMS 6th and 7th graders will receive their enrollment forms for the 2025-26 school year during Flex classes the week of Feb. 3.  

    OMS Counselors will be sharing information with all students about elective class choices for the coming year and how to complete their enrollment forms. Enrollment forms MUST BE SIGNED by the student and by a parent/guardian prior to returning them to OMS.

     All completed enrollment forms are due to the OMS Counseling Office by Wednesday, Feb. 12.

     Students who will be in 7th and 8th grades next year have the option of taking their PE credit through online PE. Online PE is only offered in the fall semester and is for students who want to complete their PE requirement outside of school. This gives students the opportunity to take an additional preferred elective during the school day.  

     If your student is interested in the online PE option, they must indicate it on their enrollment form (due February 12). For more information about the online PE course (including requirements and FAQs), please read the attached document for details.

    Students who had their yearbook photos taken on August 5th may view and order photos online.  Please use the following link and the event code to access the photos. There will be a makeup photo day on Wednesday September 4th during school hours.

    Did you choose to drop off shoes, homework, lunchbox?

    If you are bringing an item in for your student during the school day, you will leave it on the small table in the foyer. We cannot call into class to tell your student their item has arrived.  We suggest you arrange ahead of time when you are bringing the item or you may email your student on their school email address to notify them.

     

    Lunch Reminders and OMS Policies

    OMS Families --  outside food may NOT be dropped off or delivered to students for lunch.  In addition, no outside coffee, smoothies, or other beverages may be dropped off.

    Preventing Game Access from Student Chromebooks:  Securly Filter Request

    The number one complaint in past years from parents and teachers has been student access to game sites during the school day.  Parents can now choose to place their 3-12th grade students in Securly's "High Restrictions Filter Group" by logging a BVCARE Technology ticket.  *Educational Games sites used by curriculum will still be allowed.
