ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

The Facility Planning Committee examines school enrollment and capacity, and when necessary, explores boundary alternatives and recommends options for changes to the Board of Education.

Members of Board Advisory Committees should conduct themselves in a manner that elevates public discourse and demonstrates good judgment and decorum. Spirited discussion and debate are encouraged. Where there is disagreement, the expectation is that such disagreement is expressed civilly and with respect for other perspectives. Advisory Committee members shall demonstrate respect and civility toward individual District staff members, Board members, or other Advisory Committee members, whether in public meetings or via social media outlets. It is up to each member to maintain a professional and productive environment. 

BOE APPROVES BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE 2025-26 AND 2026-27 SCHOOL YEARS

At the Jan. 13 Board of Education meeting, the board approved boundary adjustments establishing boundaries for the new Wolf Springs Middle School and readjusting the boundary between Aspen Grove Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary to run along W. 167th St.

• Students who reside in the Aspen Grove Elementary and Wolf Springs Elementary attendance areas will attend Wolf Springs Middle beginning in August 2026.

• Students who reside in the Morse Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary attendance areas will attend Aubry Bend Middle.

• Neighborhoods north and adjacent to W. 167th St. will attend Timber Creek Elementary beginning in August 2025.

• Neighborhoods south and adjacent to W. 167th St. will attend Aspen Grove Elementary beginning in August 2025.
