PROPOSED BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE 2025-26 AND 2026-27 SCHOOL YEARS
In October, the Facility Planning Board Advisory Committee began meeting to establish boundaries for the new Wolf Springs Middle School. The new middle school, built with voter-approved funds from the 2023 bond referendum and located amidst a growing area in the southern portion of the district, will provide much-needed enrollment relief to Aubry Bend Middle. After reviewing enrollment, capacity projections and tools for adjustments, the committee has proposed the following boundary adjustments to maintain contiguous attendance areas.
WOLF SPRINGS MIDDLE BOUNDARIES
-
Students who attended Aspen Grove Elementary and Wolf Springs Elementary would be adjusted to attend Wolf Springs Middle beginning in August 2026.
-
Students who attended Morse Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary would attend Aubry Bend Middle.
ASPEN GROVE/TIMBER CREEK BOUNDARY CHANGE
A minor adjustment is proposed for Aspen Grove Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
The adjustment would shift the boundary line to W. 167th St., creating a clear and identifiable division:
-
Neighborhoods north and adjacent to W. 167th St. would attend Timber Creek Elementary.
-
Neighborhoods south and adjacent to W. 167th St. would attend Aspen Grove Elementary.
This change primarily affects neighborhoods that are still in the early stages of development.
