Blue Valley Schools is embarking on a journey to update its strategic plan, setting key priorities for the next five years. Over the next year, the district will gather insights and perspectives from students, staff, families and community members to identify initiatives that enhance academic excellence, integrate technology effectively, engage with the community, allocate resources efficiently, support student well-being, and improve staff retention and recruitment. The district’s goal is to create a plan that reflects the collective needs and aspirations of the entire Blue Valley community.

TIMELINE

August 2024: Opinion survey to help inform strategic priorities

October-November 2024: Board of Education Advisory Committee input

January-February 2025: Board of Education reviews draft plan

February-March 2025: Draft plan opinion survey 

April 2025: Board of Education reviews final 2025-30 Strategic Plan

May 2025: Final plan 2025-30 Strategic Plan presented to Board of Education for approval

June 2025: 2025-30 Strategic Plan goals established for 2025-26 school year

July 2025: 2025-30 Strategic Plan activated
