‘Digital Citizenship’ refers to the norms of appropriate, responsible, and empowered technology use. In Blue Valley, essential elements of digital citizenship are included in Library Media curriculum at all grade levels and are reinforced in Business and Computer Electives (grades 6-8) and Business Software Applications (grades 9-12). By equipping students with the knowledge and skills to navigate digital environments safely and securely, Blue Valley can further its mission of ensuring life readiness and personal excellence for all.
