The Board of Education is responsible for establishing the policies that guide the school district. As part of Blue Valley Schools’ commitment to community engagement, proposed policies and policies under review will be posted online following their first reading at a Board meeting for public input.

Policy Process:

• Policies will be available for public review after their first reading.

• The review period is 30 days.

• Community members are encouraged to read the policies and provide feedback online.

• At the second reading, the Board may adopt, revise or reject the proposed policy.
